When in doubt I'll side with the rider.....

There is no doubt here that he's a dumbass. Even if the left blinker wasn't on
(it was) the car never truly left the lane. He's lucky his mistake wasn't more costly.

In all my 30+ years riding - this has actually never happened to me or I've never even had a close or near close call with ANYONE in Britain. Honestly, I've never even seen anyone making a left turn in front of me from a car you drive from the ghey side of the vehicle.
