Awesome weather today. Heading out for a ride. I'll be running hard through Crosby to 90, so stay the out of my way.
That wasn't an accident. It was unintentional but NOT an accident, he had COMPLETE control of what he was doing and he could have slowed down any time he wanted to.

An accident is a nice way of saying someone was driving or riding beyond their abilities and the conditions. There is ALWAYS someone at fault and this guy chose to put his life and others at risk, I am glad he only killed himself. I am sure his family is devastated by the loss and the stupidity of his decisions.

Sure it was an accident. By definition an accident is an unintended consequence. Yes, he was negligent but assuredly he had no intent on wrecking into the car, right?

Accident means no one is at fault. Negligence of any kind negates calling it an accident, regardless of intent.

The State recognizes what you say is correct. They're not called accidents any more; they're called collisions or crashes. At least partially for the reasons you say, but also to include intentional collisions into the same reporting system. It used to be that we reported intentional collisions as assaults only, and did not do crash reports on them. Now we do.

The state form used is called a CR-3. "Crash Report" is what the CR stands for.

Truth. I keep telling my wife there is no such thing as an accident. If you investigate something enough you'll always find a reason it happened and that reason could have been changed or avoided. In this case the young man died because he ran from the law. There is no "accident" in this case.

Unless you are a true friend to the person that died I don't get why you people are bashing. Typical MH bashing when they don't even know what may have actually taken place and yall post on pure speculation.

Good job OP picking on a dead guy.

I don't see speculation based on this...posted earlier. I stand by my "Darwin wins" post based on this. It's easy to pull over and take a ticket. Sucks for his friends and family. He put a totally innocent person at risk as well.

http://montgomerycountypolicereporte...tity-released/

The motorcyclist killed after he disregarded a red light while fleeing from law enforcement Friday night has been identified as Aaron David Skinner, 20, of Humble.

According to the findings of DPS Trooper Eric Lopez, Skinner was traveling east on Kingwood Drive at a high rate of speed and disregarded the red traffic signal when he reached the intersection of Trailwood Village. The second vehicle was northbound on Trailwood and, with a green light, proceeded across the intersection and struck Skinner’s motorcycle.
