I am real sorry to hear about Liz, Let us know if you need anything even if it's just a glass of water. Call us after the surgery and let us know if she has to stay in the hospital, cuz I'll go hang with her for while if she does. If she needs a nice quiet place to recoop she can come out to our place, we have no glass tables. I kid, but I'm serious. Is she in tomball? I hope she keeps her spirits up as it will help her recover. Let me know if she needs ANYTHING! With much love, Aunt Lisa

Our surgery is scheduled for 3 pm tomorrow. The dr is very optimistic about the procedure and the recovery effort. I'll try to have some pics taken of the before and after injury. I

t's very hard for me to look at the cut. It seems as tho she cut just one Tendon and cut the nerve that gives her feeling in the top of her foot. She will regain feeling in the top of her foot but it may not be 100% (feeling wise, may have numbness) The Tendon and nerve both will be repairable and should be about 95% recoverable within the next 3-4 months. The skin flap is dyeing from lack of blood circulation causing it to bruise, hopefully we'll be able to use wound treatments rather than having a skin graft. She has an appointment today at 1 pm with Pre-Op prep. She's a real tough girl, hasn't taken her pain meds since last night around 7. I don't want her to get hooked so I told her not to take them unless she had to.

I will update when i know more. Thanks for all the help and support.
