No, I'm wondering if you went along with what he said in person, when you really thought it was bullshit, subsequently coming on here and voicing your real opinion...Or, since you have also an R6, if you said "that sounds like BS, do you want to race, so you can show me how fast it is?"?

It's not a trick question.

I wasn't told this until after we rode. I mean the bike doesn't have an exhaust so it sounds the business at WOT. I didn't ask about the bike but the details were laid on me. He does have a toggle switch on the side that's supposed to put it into some race mode. I think it was not engaged during our brief 10 minute ride.

I say this because I have rode with him and he went over some of the mods with me. It does seem like a fast bike, although my SV is relatively slow compared to any SS, so I was not able to accurately gauge how much faster it is than your average 600cc.
Says he has pulled away from some 1000cc's before...was actually kind of curious.

You on the other hand....
Wait a minute - I wasn't making fun of him - The bike looks good. I was injecting intellectual humor into the tread based on the question, why would anyone stretch a 600. Also, I intentionally mentioned the "S" if you noticed - poking fun of my own ignorance. ok? Also - I wasn't "intentionally" trying to push off an R6S as an R6. I didn't build that bike. I bought it for a track noob, my son. It actually belonged to a track instructor when I bought it. Not really a fail.

Take a lude and drink a Schlitz, chill, go buy a chopper magazine enjoy the pictures and relax. If you know how to read, some of the articles tell how they were built. Besides, I don't see asking for opinions as a fail. Your information was very convincing. FYI, I already received a bunch of new parts for the "S" to bring it up to the best level I can - BASED ON THINGS "YOU" and others said". I'd call that a win.

So- without jacking this thread anymore - Goat has a cool looling ride. I've always been a fan of blue on black. I prefer the fairing style of the 05 over the new ones. I don't like that "blade" looking thing sweeping down the side.

Personally I prefer her rear up when getting laid, but like the stretched swing arm, to each his own.

I would put money on that being false.
