Riders who rapidly blip the throttle for fast starts only have a 50% chance of getting it right. Those who pin the throttle and use the clutch for the power delivery are way ahead of that.

So that's what Capirossi is doing... I was watching the onboard video for the Qatar GP race and they were showing his clutch hand. He was using one finger to feather the clutch all the way through the turns, hadnt seen that before. Great article, thanks!

that site actually has a section called 'Keith's corner'. which has some other good articles as well.
Also, if u r interested in technicalities and 'physics' of cornering, keep a tab on the 'cornering forum' section there. very tech discussions. sometimes useful too actually:icon_bigg
