Accident I45 S just before Holland exit

Southbound lane, about 2:00pm. Red/Black Busa buried underneath the front end of an SUV. Biker was up and walking around, another bike (cruiser) was stopped along with a truck. The bike/SUV combo was in the grass about 7 feet away from the right hand shoulder. When I passed by (right hand lane closest to the shoulder) the person who I assumed was the riderthrew his helmet down in the grass after looking at his mangled bike. The others were standing on the shoulder yelling at one another.

Whoever you are looks like you made it out ok of what could have been a nasty outcome.

Goodluck!

+2938729384723984.. Same ALMOST happened to Sean on this busy street off of 249. I was a few cars in front of him and he was trying to catch up to me. He wasn't really hauling because if he was then this wouldn't of happened. Some guy didn't see that he was in the right lane and got over. There was a street to turn into the Willowbrook Mall where all the restaurants are at. When he took that right he hit the curb and went flying into the bushes. His bike has a minor damage done to it. I wish I was behind him to I could beat some ****in . I just saw something out of my rear view mirrow real quick so I slammed on the brakes and turned into the BJ's parking lot.

They should make everyone retake the dps test and hand write a 2 page essay about respecting motorcyclists on the road.

or they should require you to take the MSF class to get an M endorsement, so rider's know not to put themselves in that type of situation to begin with.

you can get a license by taking home drivers ed. you can lie about the hours spent driving and cheat on the tests. my friend did it and he's a horrible driver.

So true! I was at the DMV last week and there was this young girl in front of me with one of those Parent taught courses! The lady behind the counter was giving her the riot act because apparent that the girl didn't even bother to read most of the packet and didn't fill out any of forms! She told her DO NOT come back until she had actually read the information! It is so easy to get a licence nowadays! I is a shame how many people fail the road test several times before they finally pass it!
