Name a manufacturer other than Honda that has swept both superbike podiums in the same year at Isle of Man in the last decade

I was comparing apples to apples and obviously more hp doesn't mean quickest around the track. No , Yamaha and Kawasaki have new generation liter bikes

Have you ever built and engine Bevo? I mean order every part with the intention of racing and machining everything yourself. Because a machinist/engine builder that actually knows how and where to make power would not fall for such marketing gimmicks.

If not, It's ok not everyone is an engine builder I'm just letting you know quit while your ahead on the whole magical piston/rod combo.

I guess I should add that in my eyes if Honda has been assembling engines with a rotating assembly that is made of components that hold not respectable tolerance then I'm glad I haven't bought a Honda. The fact that they can claim a significant HP increase by simply mix matching rotating assemblies pieces his humiliating in my book.

Um.... last year? Dunlop won superbike and the senior whilst resetting the record on a BMW.

Infact the only race Honda won besides sidecars and the electric bikes was Dunlop on a superstock 600 Honda.

I guess what im missing...is what makes the Honda the better bike if all the other bikes have more tech and power? I mean, this edition isnt even using their own Braking and Suspension tech (You figured theyd use Showa, which they have a stake in).

He also said the extras the come with hp4 made little difference. Both the pannigale and rsv4 are similarly priced and went faster. You can also look up the On Two Wheels 2013 shoutout and the cbr didn't even make it out of the Japanese shootout to compete with bikes in the $17k price range.

Bevo really has a hard on for his Hondas! The bike is still slow. I have ridden the Honda pretty hard for 2 years, and actually blown one of the motors up. Yes, the Hondas blow up too. I can barely gap a well supersport build 600. The 183 claimed HP is a joke. The bike puts out around 150ish. Its a great handling bike, no doubt for a 1k it feels very nimble. But the truth is it just lacks power.
