What??? You mean when they throw those badass Brembo brakes but leave the same master cylinder you don't get much of an upgrade?? My mind has been blown

True, Honda announced the RC213V-S at the last show which is a street version of the MotoGP bike but rumors have the price at an elevation that makes the H2R seem affordable.
I think JR's move had more to do with the realization that Honda were not going to give him a MotoGP ride than any shortcomings of the Honda Superbike. All the time that cherry was being dangled he was willing to be a loyal servant of the big H. Looking forward to seeing what he can do on the Kawi, I'm a huge fan of his...

Maybe you could figure out a way for 2 test riders to ride 8 bikes at the same time

You do realize the idea was to see how fast the bikes could be ridden around the track, right?

Again, as others has stated, it was the fastest flying lap on each bike. If the CBR could run that pace for race distance, JR would have the #1 plate and not SG who was riding the Aprilia. He might have even achieved second place had TS not been consistently faster throughout the race season.

Or just buy a used CBR for 9k, Buy Repsols Fairings and Ohlins and save about 7k....since the motor is really the same after aftermarket exhaust and tuning.

Uh, the bikes in the Superpole were straight out of the box (no mods).

Regardless of wsbk the 2010 data you pull up doesn't matter as every other bike has been redone and has made improvements while Honda hasn't made any. That's like saying in 2005 an Sti was faster than a mustang so the same is true for 2015.

It means that the pistons and rods were matched by weight.

The standard 1000RR has more power than the R6
