Yea my buddies always leave their on the bike too. I've never understood why to be honest. I mean they all have cheap bilt helmets, but that's still 100 bucks just sitting on your bike. I'm not leaving my 400 dollar shoei on my bike.

I call bs on that. Having used that before I know it doesn't work that well. I used it on stomach and chest hair. It takes a while to work. I had to do 2 15 minute applications. I would have gone longer but the starts to burn. You don't have shampoo in your hair that long. Even at full strength I can't see it working that way. I think he just wanted attention.

Sure enough, after doing it every day for a few days ( it soaks into the box within a few hours ), so you have to make sure you get them pretty quickly. anyhoo, i did it for a while and eventually they grabbed it, and burned the out of his hands. I knew who was stealing them based on the ambulance that showed up about 15 minutes later... all he had to do was wash his hands. Anyhoo, moral of the story, is yes, it's dangerous, yes, it's not morally right, but if they are going to steal, at least get them some karma on the side. The acid would burn the paint on your helmet if left on long enough, but there are hundreds of other things you could do to **ck with someone should you think they might steal from you.

Sir you are clearly better at this than I, and possibly many others here, please bestow us with more gems of your instant karma...or what you might do to instantly return the karma to a would be helmet/glove thief?

I'd be more than grateful :-P
