Regarding that MSF class you took

An instructor friend of mine just told me that effective the 9th of this month (that's this coming Sunday), if your motorcycle class completion card is older than two years old, it will no longer be accepted for getting your M endorsement on your license. That means if you've put off getting the M, you better go today or tomorrow and take the written test to get your endorsement.
And, yes, that means if you've waited too long, and get a ticket for no license, you'll have to retake the class and spend the $$ all over again. FYI. Tell your friends.

I always planned to take it when I got a motorcycle ticket but I have only been pulled over once and the cop let me off of speeding just giving me an insurance ticket. Had insurance just not the card on me so it was great.

When I took mine, there was a lady who took the MSF and had no intention of getting her M. She just wanted to do it to see what the motorcycle appeal was for her husband. She was ridiculously scary on the course and couldn't really get the fundamentals down. I think she did us all a favor by failing.

My wife took the class with me 7 years ago and then decided she didn't want to bother getting her "M"... just a couple of months ago she changed her mind so she could learn to drive the sidecar. Looks like she'll be taking the class again.
