Andre Johnson on bye week: I want to get far away from here

Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson appeared to be more than ready for the bye week.

While speaking with reporters in the team locker room Monday, a frustrated Johnson talked about the team's 4-5 record and his lack of being targeted in the passing game.

"I can only control what I can," Johnson said. "I can't block. I can't cover guys. I can't throw the ball. All I can do is run routes and try to get open and catch the ball."

Johnson had only two catches for 12 yards in Sunday's 31-21 loss to the Eagles at NRG Stadium. He has only one touchdown catch all season.

When asked if he would welcome a change at quarterback, Johnson said, "The coach is going to do what's best for the team. That's their decision."

As for his bye week plans, he said he wanted to go far away.

"I just need to go to like an island or something," Johnson said.
