You can see you were really wanting to catch the 2 in front of you and were doing a good job of it.
Ran a bit wide into 3 and looks like you just low sided.
Did you run out of ground clearance or just lose the front?
Hope you're o.k..

yeah - it was the last lap ( you regular time for getting dark earlier and making us go from 6 laps to 5!) and I really wanted to catch the guy in front of me - it's a buddy of mine (Chris Coffey). I knew I had to get close and make my move in t7 or after. I was starting from about midpack (around 20th) and Chris (the guy ahead of me) was in 4th at that point.

I think I was just a little too heavy on the brakes and lost the front. Tire only had one race on it prior to this and air pressures were fine. That's my normal line through there. Chris was running defensive, so i think he was just running a tight line which made me appear to be wide.

I might be sending you an email about a helmet soon...lol

Though it is very impressive your skills on the track and lap times, here are some tip to get Novices and Rookie Experts to the next level.

At TWS (Texas World Speedway) we are mostly on the left side of the tire, so the right side does not get up to correct temp.
Did you check your tire temp? If not did you check hot off track psi? Your hot off track temp should be 2 psi more than hot off warmer psi.

I have a Pyrometer and I'll check Bridgestone Race Tires Temps for all my customers, they just have to come by my trailer when they get off the track. This is the best way to dial in your tire psi/temp!

It does look like you turned in a little late and had to turn harder and faster with more lean angle. Can't do this in T3, You have not put any significant heat in the right side of tire since T-10 the Horseshoe. My bike slides in T3 everytime, especially the front.

It also looks like you take T3 like any other turn. Have to back off a little in T3 and be smooth and use the whole track entering and exiting. One smooth big arcing turn. You should be no more than 12 inches off the left side of the track when initiating T3.

So important to constantly be working on the LINE. Using all of the track. If your 2 feet from the outside of the track and 2 feet off the apex, you have narrowed the track by 4 feet!

Enter Turn 3 with your tires right between the 2 sealer strips where the arrow is. This is a perfect visual track marker, I go between there every lap. On the apexes you want to work towards getting your knee on top the curbs.

T3line1

Typically Novices don't put much heat into the front tire if any at all.

Bridgestone racing rubber ideal temp is 180-200. Tire warmers typically are about 160-170. So that's why you need the 2 psi rise hot off the track to be at the correct temp.
It's also very important to brake correctly and smoothly. Engaging and disengaging the front brake slowly and smoothly. The front suspension needs to compress down smoothly before the brake is squeezed to hard. Front tire must be weighted causing the tire contact patch to increase.

If there was traction on top of the red, white, and blue runoff I'd use it!
