Daylight Savings and Stoplights

Be prepared for worse traffic for the next 2 weeks.

When the clocks change for Daylight Savings, some stoplights will still be running their old timing sequence, potentially making traffic worse. Houston TranStar can correct most of the newer stoplights through fiber optics, but some slip through the cracks.

If you have an issue with a stoplight backing traffic up:
-Inside Houston City Limits, call: 311 (713-837-0311).
-Outside Houston, but inside Harris County, call: 713-881-3210.
-Any FM, SH, US, or Interstate Highway, call: 713-802-5662.

Also, if you get home after dark and your streetlight is out, report it at: http://cnp.centerpointenergy.com/outage

Good Luck!
