Anyone have a solution for this?

Is there a protectant I can put around the coolant hose to no get eventual run through. I moved to reverse shift when I got this 07rr and I have had to have it like this since....

Under the purple tape there is some adhesive strips that have a mm or so thickness to them. Even so without the zip ties it would eventually rub through

Heat shrinkable hose protector.
Also see if you can shorten the hose to not allow it to rub.

Isnt there a bike that has a metal coil wrapped around the radiator hose? Like a slinky.....i forget which bike has it but u could but one and install it.

Can you re-route the rear hose and run it between the front hose and your stator cover? Looks like there's plenty of room. The front hose would get pushed back a bit, but from the angle of the pic, it looks like it'd still clear.
