Any OEM warranty from tire manufacturers?

hey all,

quick question, curious if any/all tire manufacturers do any type of warranty on their tires sans-purchase, as in, does a warranty or sometimes i believe its called a gaurantee of manufacturing from X days from date of purchase come inherently to the tire upon purchase?

Just curious, i hit a huge shard of glass or nail or something with my new-ish back tire which doesnt have a upgrade waranty or anything to that effect purchased on it.

If you didn't buy a road hazard tire warranty then you have no warranty

why would you think a tire maker would want to pay for your damage?

It's not their fault you ran over some junk.

jeez

They do not come with a road hazard warranty (guarantee) for 30 days. You have to purchase one

Not against punctures they don't.

A puncture in a tire is no different than having an accident with your car. You've caused damage to the product.

Cycle Gear sells a road hazard warranty for some $15 per tire, IIRC. Questionable value IMO, but I kinda wished I had gotten something like, just so I can see their faces when I haul this cigar-smokin' bad boy in for warranty claim.
