stolen 650R

I crashed my 2006 Ninja 650R on Wednesday 10/22. Off of NASA Road 1, and highway 3. I came back a half hour later to pick it up and it was gone.
Black, and red, with some silver. 650r with new road rash along the right side..

leaving your bike unsupervised no matter what the circumstance is a high chance of it getting stolen ill keep my eyes open tho thats just the 2 worst things to happen all in one crash and stolen all within a 30 min period hope your alright .

unfortunately from my point of view, a crash abandoned bike is the easiest target even if for 5 minutes, because no matter what you look like or how you pick it up you will not raise any suspicions... you are only there to take the bike away, since it obvioulsy isnt rideable

Start watching CL for the usable parts ... and check with the wrecker yards again in that area direct cause they may have not reported it hoping they could just junk it for straight cash .. you never know.

I just found out the Houston transstar traffic camera point right at the spot I layed down the bike. The site says they don't save the feed, but I imagine somebody must have a record of last week.

You would have to file an open records request with the state of Texas to even start to get that kind of footage. I'm almost 90% sure those cameras still do not record. I have worked in Transtar and the cameras didn't record back then either. Who knows if they do now but if you do don't expect it to be a speedy process. I'm sorry for your loss.

Got a call today from the Constable they found it, with a rider on it.
He was let go, because he claimed to have purchased it from a friend.
Picking it up from the impound tomorrow, and pressing charges.
