Opinion on harbor freight trailer

Looking for an affordable folding trailer option. Intentions are for a 600lb bike. General trips around 300 miles. Think this is adequate? Have better suggestions? Thank you for your input

The only thing keeping me from getting the same trailer is the tire size. If they made one with 15" wheels I would be all over it.

I bought a new 6x12 utility trailer with a gate from these guys earlier in the year. I Paid right at $1000 including tax title and license. I am very happy with my purchase so far. Heres a 5x8 for a couple hundred more than the Harbor Freight one, but I think it is ALOT more quality than HF. I'm sure the HF one would get the job done for you though.

I'd check craigslist for used ones first personally..., even pick up a used harbor frieght trailer...although I'm a little cautious of used harbor freight merchandise.

That's what I thought to when I was looking. I very rarely ever buy anything new, but the used trailers on Craigslist are going for near the same prices as the new ones. It's crazy

Well they don't really depreciate the same way cars do
All the more reason to buy a used one. A nice one pretty much lasts forever with minimal maintenance.
I got my boat trailer for 200 dollars.

Oh and Loading the zx-14 into my 13 silverado is very...unfun... I pretty much dread and hate it actually. Plus we have a new jeep so would love to cruise out to the country in that.

They sell like crazy on Craigslist. I waited for a clean one to pop up and went to pick it up the day it was posted.

I got more than I had into my last Harbor Freight trailer when I sold it, but it had been set up to tow behind a motorcycle. Granted, I'd gone to the trouble to fully weld it up instead of bolting, modified the springs for the reduced load (less bounce), added LED lighting, extend the tongue quite a bit, and added both a cooler mount (and included the cooler) and hard cargo box, but between the money and time I had in it I still feel I came out ahead, especially after putting ~5k miles on it.

You can make a nice trailer out of their kit if you're willing to put a little work into them. Either way, I'd suggest putting on quality tires, which makes upgrading to a larger wheel (if that's what you prefer) really not much of an issue vs. buying a trailer equipped with a larger wheel.
