I'd say just the Oil Filter clamp. Like Peter said the last time they had an oil change.

it's a dry sump motor. there isn't going to be a lot of oil sitting in the cases/oil pan running or stopped due to that design, so case covers aren't going to do much for the rotax-motored aprilias.

CMRA only requires case covers for a handful of bikes. Certain bikes don't hit their cases when they crash...the aprilia being one of them.

AND because it's a dry sump oiling system...it doesn't spill the entire contents of the motor when it DOES break.

The whole idea of wiring the oil plug/filter is to PREVENT crashes, in all levels! Case covers are still a good idea, in case you crash for some other reason.

I've yet to hear a (legitimate) argument for not requiring some basic wiring. Cost is minimal, and skill is dudewhrsmybike level.

Not for level 1 students, that can ne over whelming, first timers are already running around lost, nervous as it is. Having to add safety wiring would make it worse

So would track days have the same requirements? It was just said that EVERYONE should be required to have case savers.
