Sorry, just did the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride (www.gentlemansride.com) at the end of September. Don't need to do a poorly organized copy-cat ride.

How many times have you rode a motorcycle in the last month? Yea, you probably ride at least twice a year or more. My point is that you don't just do it once and stop.

So whats wrong with putting on your favorite panties, skirt, and bikini top for a second ride?

No worries, if you don't want to dress up for the boys on the fast sport bikes, you don't have to. You can go to church instead, you probably need that much more.

Most riders here are sportbike riders anyhow, not classic motorcycles.

Buuuuuut, did u know thats lone star rally, wknd? Just fyi.
Im pretty sure im going to lsr saturday or sunday so we shall see.

Bump this thread when its closer so ppl will see it again.

Regarding the poll: for this kind of ride, i vote heart of dt. I initially voted "i have a better suggestion" and that would be commute. I only wear squidwear otw to work bc im lazy to pack/change.

Thanks for that info. I did not know it was that weekend. Though there is always something going on. That isn't going to stop me. We will have to see how it works out.

Please, don't show up unless your going to participate.

If you would like to send me a route suggestion just PM me.

Yea, even tho its lsr wknd diff orgs still do other meets/events/rides. Bc its a statewide event, hill country usually frees up so some ppl head that way.
Maybe u should continue ur cruise to gtown. Be warned (if uve never been) its mad traffic on 45s. Hand will hurt from holding the clutch.

Yea, i definitely wont dress up so i wont come.
I dont know any routes, im sorry. I go on them but i dont know what roads r what, esp when the names are called numbers.
Have a great one.

Oh wait, i know plenty of routes in midtown/montrose/washington/heights tho. But thats easy to map out.

This event has been changed to November 16th because the weekend of the 9th will be 2 very large events (both 3 day events) happening. This is an event conflict that we are working around. - The 2 big events are
SS2K14 "One Night Stand" and Lone Star Rally in Galveston. - Your Welcome.

Yep, like one of those things office people usually wear when they paper shuffle and make phone calls. Its can also be identified with something you may wear to a wedding. They get worn to those events. OHHohhh here is a good one. You will know exactly what I'm talking about now.... the mens wearhouse sells them hahah! yes. I think that one describes it perfectly.

Let me know if you have any questions.

But yes, really a for real suit and tie ride. I had so much fun writing this out.

That ride wasn't super legit. At least the part I saw from 610 to the stopping point. It was kind of a cluster pulling into the lot but that was just my observation. One dude almost ate it hitting a curb at the mechanic shop next door.

Good luck with it OP the bar was raised before you.

Excellent observation, and part of the reason I'm hesitant to ride with much of a group. We definitely need to work on ride organization, but it was not so much a "ride" as bar hopping. But most of us only make it out on motorcycles once a year or so anyway.
