How did you tuck your lic. plate?

I am wanting to tuck my plate like the picture shows but don't want to spend $150 when it is just for a lic plate. Any of you DIYer's make one on your own?

I'm thinking about using the bracket that came with the rear fender and drilling 2 little holes to mount it up under there as well. That how I mounted it on my 636 so I want the 10 the same way.

I bent a bracket that came with my 636 and forced it to work!

Got rid of the silly mud flap!

i custom built the f4i lisence plate mount and it turned out really nice, i used a little bit of the stock black plastic that originally held the plate

do you still have the factory mud flap? There is tips on under tail hacking on sv650.org. I custom made the under tail job on our sv for 13 dollars in parts.

L brackets + small screws and bolts $5.00... use the holes from the original fender.

I used L brackets also. I attached it to the back side of the plate and then to the holes where my passenger footpeg brackets bolt to the subframe. Worked out pretty good IMO. Had to bend the brackets a little to make it straight. I know the picture aint great below but it gives you an idea. The red marks are where the brackets are. Hope it helps.
