I went to Arizona.... did some tubing, hiking, skateboarding and saw The Mars Volta play in Phoenix. I must say I was itching for my bike a couple of times when I saw the roads I was missing out on. :confused1:

My sister lives in Flagstaff... about 2 hours north of Phoenix. That area is spectacular and has some tremendous roads. I'll be out there again in August... maybe I can rent a Harley while I'm there.

The Mars Volta.... are some aliens that make some weird music... and the clincher is when you see them play live you don't recognize most of the music because they are just jamming onstage. The wildest audiable experience I have ever had.

Re: welcome back moody... wher'd u just go on vac?

If you are into rock they will probably tickle your fancy..... but they are broad spectrum on how they experiment with sound. If the site sparks an interest from the videos or something I can make some backups for my CDs that you could keep at your house. right:

interesting sound, like you said, the music is somewhat experimental, but nevertheless, it isnt too bad, i think that sound would have to be aquired to appreciate.

It actually took me a few listens to get into each album because so many things are going on..... but I think that is what I enjoy about them.
