Places to Ride?

When I finally do get my finances under control and get me another bike, I'm going to want to know where the good places are around here (Pearland). A lot of buddies of mine already have bikes or are getting them, so I'm sure they'd like to know as well... Any suggestions?

288 has the longest straight roads I've ever seen. If you want to ride some good roads, your gonna have to ride outside of Appleland

As a fellow Prunelander I have to agree with all the above. There are few good roads on this end of the planet.
If you just wanna cruise easy and enjoy a little putt, there are quiet 2 laners to the south of Manvel. If your perversion leans more toward fast twisties then you will likely have to go to the hill country. Lots of good stuff out there.
In case you are unfamiliar there is a fairly good ride the last wednesday of every month to a little place in Angleton. Plenty of bikes, decent burgers and cold refreshments. lmk

Houston is too flat and straight. . i like elevation changes and twisties. But +1 on MSRH. Just expensive. Are you still thinking about getting that Gixxer?
