I would just pay for with a redhead and call her scarlett.

It's cheaper.

But yes, they are all zx6rs... I automatically assume someone has no idea what they are talking about when they refer to them as "636's" it's increased even more if they have either a 07-12 or a zx6rr from 03-06.
Alot of people dont even know what your talking about when you say zx6r , but if you say ninja .... then everybody knows exactly what your talking about

Now the dilemma, I want a s1000rr. I love how they look. They are and I want . I have no real reason to upgrade, I just want it. I want one in red.

Now tell me why I'm stupid so I don't waste my money.
See that bit in red? If you're still scared by your ZX6R, you're going to be terrified of an S1000RR.

Personally, I'd wait until I wasn't scared of the Ninja anymore.

You might want to think about that.

I've had the zx6r since march, 5000 miles on it. Before that I had a ninja 300 that I rode for awhile and put 8000 miles on.

From a dig the zx6r will still scare me a bit launching it and going all out. I always ride around with traction control 1 so except for one time by accident the front has never come up more than a foot off the ground. imo it's still scary fast from a stand still or at a low speed. I'm used to the power on the highway though, but anyways I don't even want the bmw cause it's faster lol.

I'm for sure going to hold off, but it doesn't make me want the bmw any less lol.

My ninja , keep the ninja and just enjoy its tight solid little package that it is , im on the 13' gsxr 750 i aquired and even though its a bit faster than my ninja . I just feel its too easy to ride, a blind monkey could ride this gixxer. Now the ninja ... well that bike feels like it takes a bit more skill to ride and handle it .

Just my .02

If you have money to spend and all you do is ride the street then I would say ride what you want and makes you happy. However I would try and get some seat time on the BMW first before you buy it to ensure you really like it. However if you have aspirations to take part in track riding and the such I would suggest keeping the bike you have to A. have more money to go play and B. It wont cost as much and you wont be as heart broken when you crash.
Fixed it

Not if, when. If you go to the track it is only a matter of time.

Agreed.

Although if the 636 scares you, I'm guessing the RR will, too

You cant take your money with you when you die.

Buy whatever it is you want if you can handle it financially.
