I have been on the track yes... advice... Gonzo and Buck will be there and are WONDERFUL at advice... The best advice I can give anyone is dont ride faster than what you are comfortable with and follow Buck or Gonzo around the track several times to learn your lines and where you need to be in each corner... If I did not follow them around my first track day I dont know how many times I would have gone off the track.

If you dont try to ride above your limits and follow them and listen to what Buck and Gonzo say you will do good! There wont be as many people as normal out there and girls arent as harsh as the boys... All yall that are worried relax this is for fun. Enjoy yourself and ride were you are comfortable riding

My first track day I had a guy buzz me in turn 2 and every other chance he got to the point I could have thumped him on his helmet if I wanted to What can I say boys will be boys especially riding with the big boys...

If you can ride on the street you can ride better on a track, so much less you have to think about when riding on the track. Last noob day the most common mistake was people getting scared and just standing the bike up and running off the track, or braking mid turn. If you think your going to fast for a turn dont hit the brake, you can ease into them very carefully. Commit to the trun and be a smooth as you can, it may scare the out of you but you will probably make it though the turn. Look where you want to go, not where you will go if you crash cause then you will end up going that way.

Good Advice... Thanks I will take that to heart. Dr. Gonzo has been trying to get me on the track for sometime now so I guess I will be following his lead.

Glad you decided to come out, Apolonia.
See ya in 2 weeks.

If you have time, you should come out to the track this Saturday and watch, talk with people, and see how everything works. It might help take away some of the nervousness.

BEST ADVICE. look ahead at where you want to be....not where you are going. when the rain clears, go out to an empty road.....go straight, and turn your head far left.....your bike will drift left.

Advice:

1. Ride under your limits until you are absolutely comfortable. Take it easy. Don't go out there and think you have to race. It is not a trophy run but for you improving your skills.

2. Follow the lines shown to you.

3. When being passed, stay on course in a consistent line (don't zig zag around) so people see they can either pass you on the inside or outside.

4. Have fun!

5. Dont EVER look behind you while on the track let the person trying to pass you worry about where you are .. If they are going fast enough to pass you they need to watch out for you!
