Welcome! Tons of knowledgeable people here on the forum, and we've got some great sponsors. If you don't mind taking it to a shop, I highly recommend Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited. Great guy, and he runs a great shop. After dealing with his shop, I'd recommend him even if he wasn't a forum sponsor.

I appreciate the info! My only problem is the bike won't start up so I wouldn't be able to get it to the shop.. That's my dilemma or I would just take it to a shop and pay the money because I'd like a professional to figure out what's going on and then figure out whether it's in my capability to do it myself or pay someone to do the work.

Im sure there are some people here in your area who wouldnt mind helping, or even transporting the bike for you. Some shops will even pick up the bike for you, for a fee. I live in Freeport so im kinda far.. :(

Thumbs up

That'd be very helpful especially since I'm new to the area with no friends or acquaintances. If this was back home I would've been able to easily get a friend with a truck and be on my way but we'll see what happens! Seems to be that there are a lot of sincere helpful people out like yourself! Appreciate the concern.

QuickMick- Preciate the info! I'll definitely be looking into that page.

BryanE- Preciate that a lot! You'll definitely be hearing from me, whether the bike gets fixed or not, but I'm going to see if I can get her up and running again and I'll keep you posted, thanks for the concern.

Patrick- Not yet but I was going to do those things today, I had the battery on the charger last night and it's almost fully charged, imma run by the auto store and grab a volt meter today and after I test those things out I'll post about my findings.
