OUTLAW DAVES

Anyone that has attended the central meet at OUTLAW DAVES please double check your credit and debit card statements. I specifically told them I was paying cash but have to give them a card to open a tab. When I went to close out my tab I reminded them again that I was going to pay cash. I find a charge on my account from UR PROPERTIES. i googled the name and it turns out to be OUTLAW DAVES. Not sure what the happened but am trying to call them, haven't gotten through to anyone yet. Everyone just double check your accounts.

It's likely just a hold in case you walked your tab.

Most places will charge a small amount as a hold that will drop off after a couple days. They charge the card when you open the tab to see if the card is good and then adjust that charge at the end of the night. If you paid cash that charge will most likely drop off after a couple days.

This is why I never let bars hold my card. crooks. Always pay cash as you go if they wont carry a cash tab.

Lol the crooks are the idiots who go to bars and get hammered and walk out on their tabs, and the employees who are taking your money, not the bar. Its more than likely a hold and should be gone in 2-3 days. If not take your receipt up there and have them refund your card. If you don't have a receipt, then that's on you. Why not just pay cash for each drink?

I always walk out of there feeling that they charged me way less than I consumed but I always tip them 20% or more of the total of my bill... they know me by my first name and my accent.

I work in the industry it is most likely a hold like has been said before. If not then an honest mistake. Bartenders make a fair amount of money and nearly all would not jeopardize their jobs over one small tab. Before we blow up the Bar that has let you come and have your meets for the past months why not wait until you have a chance to talk to them first. Accidents happen. If they refuse to work with you then by all means, start a thread and put them on tilt. I don't think the OP was trying to say that they are crooks, just a friendly warning. I hope you get this resolved and post how it turns out.

I agree with EK, I always pay cash myself, but to run a tab you have to putt up a CC. I have always had a Charge from Outlaw Daves from 25-50 dependent on the time of the week. It generally rolls off in 3-5 days and your bank can tell you if its a authorization or not. I too believe my bill is always less when I leave than what I have consumed.

I'm impressed you haven't talked about resorting to violence yet Barry.

Like everone has said..

... It's probably the charge and I am sure that id you bring it up to Dave if it does not fall off he will resolve it for you.

Before jumping into conclusions give them a chance to correct it. If for some reason they refuse, I can talk to Dave.

I highly doubt they will jeapordize the relantionship over a tab...Plus I really doubt they "roll like that"...

This charge is from 7 days ago, last Wednesday night the central meet.
