The high line rider needs to give the low line rider his bike as penance and then take up knitting and promise to NEVER ride on a track with others again.

Is there a race line for the front straight?
I mean i know smaller bikes wont go up as high but the bike that got hit the white one look to be a little low on the banking.

There is nothing wrong with the low line. I actually prefer it to bottoming suspension on dive bombing down the wall.

IMHO the problem comes running out on the straight just to scrub 60 mph because he's scared of the turn......all while cutting someones line.

Yeah we'd have an "off track incident" after the on track one.

There is a low line and a high line. The 600 is on the low line. I've seen all displacements take either line. Just depends on your comfort level. There are many lines and some even transition from the high line to a low line entrance, however his angle of attack is VERY steep and abrupt. Not the norm from anyone I have seen that has a clue.

Ill respond the same way I did to it on FB HOLY AND WTF. Id be so if I were the guy minding my own business on the inside of the track. That dude was flying! Too bad the other rider was taken down with him. He was going straight to the inside wall??? Maybe he panicked since he was going pretty fast def too fast for his skill.

Suing is for . We all know the risks of riding on the track.

The guy made a mistake. A HUGE mistake, but a mistake none the less.

I'm surprised nobody has noticed that alleast the guy who caused the crash was getting his due as he was sliding under the other riders machine. Maybe he felt bad about causing the wreck and was trying to keep the other guys bike from so much damage.LOL q

I'm not sure what happened. I was just circulating that lap and took the low line to give the fast guys on hot laps plenty of room into T1.

I saw his bike appear in front of me suddenly, felt the bars get knocked from my hands and then blacked out.

My GSXR is pretty busted up, I broke or lost 2 go pros and a GPS timer, roached a helmet and a *brand new* set of spidi leathers and I have some extra hardware in my shoulder and a few busted ribs.

Not sure what happened to the other rider as they feared a concussion and a punctured lung for me and transported immediately (fortunately both were false alarms). I saw from the video he got tangled up in my bike, so I'm sure he had some road rash and burns to deal with.

Watching the video, I honestly have no idea what he was trying to do, target fixation is the most plausible explanation I've heard, especially when you consider how much he'd slowed down by the time we collided.

I don't think I was riding unpredictably or erratically and I'm pretty sure I was on a 'normal' low line for that corner. But y'all can see and decide for yourselves - I'm certainly willing to listen to a well reasoned critique. Lord knows I'm still learning stuff every time I go out on the track...
