Klx is tempting but if that r6 is straight and runs well then I'd go with that

I'd say the R6. You can part it out and get something decent from the money made on it. Next would be the KLX. The YSR will probably need a full motor rebuild. The shocks and forks are stock. Take it from someone that raced YSRs. That YSR is $600 bike at most.

Let him buy the r6 and then let that guy buy the shifter kart with cash.

Yeah my choices were mostly between the KLX and R6. Posted the NSR in case someone knew some value about them that I didn't.

I have been leaning toward the R6, but it would be nice to have the KLX for a little woods bike.
Only thing from keeping me from jumping on the R6 is the truth about what it actually needs. Project bikes are always a pita in some way. It seems to have the most value though. The KLX is in Austin from a guy I know, taking a look at the R6 this coming Sunday when the owner gets back in town.

And to be honest, I don't want to spend much and the R6 needs probably $1k minimum. Though it does bring the most reward once I fix it up. Would be pretty badass. I've gotten the itch to get another literbike...CBR1000 or S1000rr so the less I have to spend on a trade bike the sooner I can count my pennies toward another 1000cc

Thought about it some more, if the R6 is decent it really shouldn't be a contest at all. It would be worth so much more, plus I would like to have another 600cc track bike.

I just couldn't resist trading my other 600 track bike for an RC51. They may not be the latest and greatest, but they will always hold a place in my heart!
