I believe you have to take the MSF course if you are under 18.

The MSF course will certify your driving test. All you have to do is take the written test.

Since you are under 18, you are required to take the MSF Basic RiderCourse. After that, take your MSF certificate to the DPS office. You WILL have to take the written test (we'll help prepare you for it), and SHOULD not have to take the driving test. Legally, they can still make you take it, they just never do.

www.awesomecycles.com for the MSF course.

PS
Since you are under 18, you have to have either your car driver's license or a car learner's permit before you can take the MSF course.

Plus, with taking the MSF course you get something like a 10% discount on your insurance.

It's called Driver's Education and no, it doesn't take that long. You have to finish the first 8 hours to get your learner's permit and at that point you can take the MSF course.
