Looks like we have a really good list going here.
I'd like to wait for this list to simmer down with the number of people looking to get on the 08 Endurance Team.

After we have a solid list, I will narrow down the list by the following:

A. Who has their CMRA lisence? (Or will have it prior to the start of '08)

B. ProvNov status must be dropped prior to start of race.

C. I'm looking for 2 Experts and 3 Novices for this team

D. I need teammates who can dedicate their time to each and every CMRA Endurance race in 2008. If not physically at each event, you will still be responsible for your financial end for each race.

E. ???

Can't predict the future (atleast that is what I tell people) but, I don't foresee any issues.

E. ??? I am guessing E before a race would be a bad choice? :laughing6

Maybe we should have people do some stuff & research before they put their names on the list, like maybe a requirment should be:

1) atleast have a certain number of track experience.
2) have CMRA license.
3) be done with yellow shirt before start of first endurance race of 08.
4) etc etc.
another important rule, they all must be within 20 POUNDS, so the bike handles better
lol

i was kind of joking/suggestion but it makes sense to keep the settings somehow for all the riders. Plus maybe adjustable pegs.

Adjustable pegs are way too complicated for a rider change, but a good idea to get people in the right ballpark or "happy medium".

I know you're comments were half way toungue-in-cheek, but it's good information I think...

I only have 4 years of endurance experience, but I'd be happy to help out with whatever questions or problems come up for you guys.

I have cost spreadsheets and spares lists too that help with finances and preparation. I learned from some of the best in the biz, and watched them while we raced together for the past several years. There is a LOT to running an endurance effort.
I second that!!! This weekends race sucks!:eh:

Tom,
Can you e-mail me your cost spreadsheet so I can compare to the one I've been developing?

this is a very important factor as we are currently finding out how this feels exactly!!! It sucks ... "Qualified" racers are hard to find when in Desperate need!

No worries man,
Maybe I can convince you to ride with us next year

As for the weight issue,
This is a very good point.
I'd like to find riders with about the same build / weight

give take 50 - 75 lbs

Jimmy,
I don't think that weight would be too far off.
Didn't you race in WERA before Jimmy?
