2015 Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT ABS | FIRST LOOK

For 2015, Suzuki’s middleweight adventure touring V-Strom 650 sees an additional package added to the top of the model line. The V-Strom 650 “XT” version will add spoke rims (a first for any ‘Strom) to the Adventure package and, “a wider range of accessories,” says Suzuki. The XT ABS will be available in Metallic Matte Gray, and carry an MSRP of $10,399.

Under the new accessories will be the same, basic 645cc V-twin that has carried the “Wee-Strom” through more than a decade of production. The previous generation V-Strom models remain available in 2015 as well, in the same 474-pound package as last year. The V-Strom 650 ABS Adventure comes with hard saddlebags, a gloss version of the XT’s Metallic Gray, and a suggested retail price of $10,049, while the base V-Strom 650 ABS will sell for $8,549 in Pearl White or Metallic Blue.
