Question "Tegaderm" for rash

So it's been 8 days since I ate it, and my rash is healing pretty well. My arm is lookin really good, knee, not quite as pretty. I've been using regular non-stick dressing and keeping it moist, but my knee is also pretty sprained, so I'd like to start using an Ace bandage for additional support. I was told of this transparent dressing called Tegaderm, which is supposed to be really good for rash and is flexible, yet stays on for a while while the skin comes back. Anyone have an experience with it? Thx!

Good stuff!
If you can leave the rash open / uncovered, Silvadene works well too.

for a fractured wrist? Why are guys so scared of the doctor and going just to make sure its not broken ? Is it the fact that if you do go and they tell you you are fine you wont have anything to complain abotu anymore??

I highly recommend Dr. Lou, Fondren Orthopedric Group
Phone: 713.799.2300

He's right off 10 and the Belt on Frostwood. He's worked on me, Brandon, Steve McNamara and many other road racers.
IMO he's one of the best around.

but there would be a reason behind them saying that ,..... cause if you keep riding and really it up how you gonna ride after having surgery to fix whatever could have been avoided while not riding for a week or 2?

See my post above about Dr. Lou. In all of the instances I've dealt with him, he had us up and riding as soon as possible.

I was back on the bike a week after major knee surgery. Brandon came back to full scale racing a month after having his collarbone screwed and plated.
