Congratz! :notworthy And I second that ^^^! I took mine the very next Monday after I did the course and I passed with no problem. The test won't take you 10 minutes (but waiting at DPS might take you another 50 mins). Some questions on the test that aren't covered by MSF have to do with crossing railroads and group riding... just look that info up, to be sure, before you go.

Good Luck!

I second that too! The track is the safest place to learn. There are no light poles, road barriers, potholes, randomly placed objects on the road, moving vehicles with people on the phone (eating, texting or otherwise not paying attention) and bridges to fly off of if you are going too fast around the corner. :eh:

Track is safer than the streets, esp. for starting out.. you'll learn more in one day on the track than a year on the street. I'm only thinking of your safety as well..

You'll find a much larger comfort level on the track without other cars around you.

Well that's a much better way of putting it. You know you put all caps on "no excuses" and made it bold and enlarged so I assumed you were yelling at me and you know I'm not gonna go for that from anyone. I appreciate your concern and I might do the track day I'll have to check my hectic schedule and see what I can do.

Congrats on passing the course.
And +1 to the track. I rode a lot safer on the road after getting on the track.

+1111 I completely agree with James on this one!!! I road street for 3 years prior to my first track day and learned allot from Josh, HOWEVER on my first track day I became one with the bike you might say and learned allot about riding. Another way to get comfortable would to be learn your bike, and not just how to ride it.
