Newbie from clear lake

Hi everyone! Im from the Clear Lake area and I've been riding for about 9 years now. Started in high school with a Yamaha Virago, loved that little bike. After that I moved up to a '93 CBR 600 that I bought from a friend. That bike had been in a wreck so I got it pretty cheap. Spent some time learning about the bike and fixing it up (with some very generous funding help from the folks) and rode that bike for several years. Eventually, in my broke college years, I was unable to keep the CBR running anymore(mainly due to ignorance and poor maintenance habits on my part). Since that bike was my only means of transport at the time, I was allowed to ride my dad's sv650. He then picked up a honda nt700 for himself and I was allowed to keep the SV

So long story short, I ride an SV650 and it is fantastic.

As far as the forum, I joined up to connect with other riders in the area and stay up to date with my riding skills.

Looking forward to riding with yall!

I ride an 08 SV650, the naked model, not the Sport. I will try to get a pic up soon for my avatar.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome!
