I will admit the r6 is a little uncomfortable ......it's made to be tucked up under the windscreen screaming at 150 mph....

In my opinion

My opinion,

If you are going to do some track days: R6

Street riding soley: GSXR600

Street riding and lots of wheelies: R6S

A friend of mine bought a 06 R6 and wishes now that he had bought the R6S after riding my 04 R6. The new R6 has great power up high in the rpm's but leaves something to be desired down in the low to midrange. So if you are messing around in town and want to be able to pull the front end up with ease I'd wouldn't go with the new R6. But hey that's just my $.02.

Really?

Not trying to give you a hard time but, tell that to the 5 racers at TWS (Texas World Speedway) last year.

, tell that to the 11 owners of '06 - '07 GSXR600 - 750s that have been totaled because of broken frames that this year alone I've seen come through my shop.

I have seen a few bike with broken frames and it doesn't matter the make, what matter is how it crashed.

i think they are both good in their own ways. you just want to figure out what you want, then match it with the bike that fits the best to what you want.

I have a gsxr 750 (05) and it has been very reliable but I am looking at alternatives when its time to get something new. It is too bad honda did not make a 750 otherwise that is what I would have got.

Don't get me wrong, the GSXR is an excellent bike, and if I was in the market for a street 600 or 750 SS bike it would be high on the list.

IMO though, right now, if you're looking at a new 600, you should definitely consider the new CBR600rr.
