Brazos Valley offroad park

My first ride at Brazos Valley off road park in Bryan, Tx. We had to find our way around cause no one knew the trails very well. Hills were a little rutted and some overgrowth but fun place to ride.

Brazos Valley is a blast....lots of elevation compared to anything around here. Racing that place was always a good time.

Place was overgrown because he hasn't had a race there all year, and same thing with the hill climbs were rutted due to lack of use. That was our first time there and had a good time riding some different terrain than the SHNF.

that's unfortunate it was so overgrown....this video gives a good perspective of the elevation out there. Was probably one of my favorite race locations besides Shiloh Ridge up in Alto.

dbuck, that video looked a whole lot better than last weekend. All the larger hills had big rain ruts on both sides and a peak in the middle and trails were very overgrown and sometimes hard to see thru. Place has a lot of good riding, just needs a little TLC.

We are attempting to arrange a ride day there in Nov (stay tuned for exact date) and if all goes to plan, we'll try to go out the weekend prior to and clean the trail system up a bit and add some ribbon and possibly some arrows.

In discussions with the property owner but as of now, all is a go! It needs to be ridden more often, and there is only 1 person who currently arranges riders there but it's spotty unfortunately. We're trying our best to remedy the situation, it's really a great property and shouldn't go to waste.
