Should boots be snugged?

I just bought the TCX WP women's boots. I'm usually a size 7. Even my dainese boots are 7. However, these are kinda loose. I have over a half of inch of space extra. Should I return them for smaller or the extra space is fine?

Snug with a little room imo. You don't want them sliding off incase of a crash.

If they are loose now they will be too loose when they break in. You want them to start out pretty snug

That's what I thought, but I had to be sure. I hate returning things when I buy them online. I am an impatient person lol

I hear that. Same here. , most of the time I just order more rather than wait for a return. I would order then worry about returning the one I don't want later

Not sure what part of the boot is loose but remember riding boots usually have braces in them that need to be nice and tight but comfortable, especially the anklr area
