Didn't have time?? Did you have time to get insurance? A license? A helmet?

I guess now that you won't be riding/crashing you have time for MSF.

Hope you are okay and sorry you crashed. It's a tough way to learn a lesson.

From what I read, no one is trying to flame you. As a matter of fact, it looks to me like they were trying to give you good advice.

This course you took very obviously wasn't like the MSF course or you'd know what "countersteering" is and how it works. And to be blunt, I'd bet that's what got you into trouble on your turn.

Seriously, when fifteen people are all saying the same thing, you might want to think about it..........just a thought.

PS
Sorry to hear about your bike.

on the second one yes. but you can use them for street as well, just have to mount lights. a friend of mine is using track skins but has a light mounted under the front fairing and tail lights under the tal piece.

Reidlos,

If you want to learn more about the mechanics of motorcycles, I definitely highly recommend the DVD "Speed on Two Wheels" to you. They do show it on TV once in a while but I got the DVD so I can watch it as often as I like.

http://www.speedontwowheels.com/

It is a great DVD, and it tells you why the front brake is so effective, it tells you about the ins-and-outs of countersteering and much more.
