I am guilty of trolling in the 1st degree....now I know that someone knows the person in charge of this but man IN MY OPINION the website looks like a joke. And why would investors pay for something out in the boonies when TWS (Texas World Speedway), which is very close, just flopped? I mean there is millions poured into a venue like this and where would the return be? Look at COTA for instance, very close to a big city (Austin isn't that big but...) and they have F1, MotoGP, concerts ect., with the city of Austin to back it up with lodging, places to eat....

I am no business man by any means and I look at the website like its a joke. So if I can say that, what would real business men think?

I sound and might even be a hypocrite because I would love to have another track near us but I just don't see this happening....

Good luck to the Lawyer posted above

TWS (Texas World Speedway) is closing becuase it would cost more to renovate than the property is worth and its falling abpart. Eventually it will have to be bull dozed and the developer who owns it can make more money building homes.

COTA is a GREAT track but its way over priced and will be for a long time. It simply isn't a high volume venue for the average car or trackday club. It makes sense to do a track out near Brehnam where the land is still cheaper and its more central to the Texas motor sports scene. Being out in the boonies gives the track levearge and time to become established before the urban sprawl encroaches. I've spoken with the head of the group and a lot more information will be flowing in the coming weeks. Let's just suffice it to say that its not a scam. A lot of money has already been spent to do the necessary studies to make it happen. I'm looking forward to it.

As for turn 18 and the wall, if you look at the scale you'll see there is some proposed run off, Besides we will propably run it the reverse of its original design like we do MSRH most of the time anyway.

Have you been to TWS (Texas World Speedway) recently? You look at the bleachers and how it resembles what concrete looks like after an earthquake... That place isn't in the exit because of the location. It lasted for a very long time and is farther from Houston than Brenham.

Wasn't one problem with TWS (Texas World Speedway) back in the day and a factor in NASCAR not coming back that there were no large interstate highways or similar roads, and no airport of significant size nearby? There was just no way to get large race teams, spectators, etc in and out efficiently.

Oak Hill did just fine in the DEEP boonies for what 20+ years.......

If you can actually build it, riders will come. Just don't get my hopes up until pavement hits the ground anymore. Plans are easy, bulldozers are hard.

Will we need to have amphibious vehicles since it goes over water?

72 would be closer to what everyone is calling the little .

Turn 12 is being called the Giant . I think it should be the Black .

I'm going to fall over in my chair every time I hear "turn 12 to grid I have a rider down on the giant black "

That's good news. Most PCA and BMWCCA guys are real deal. I can only hope this works out.

But tell them to fix that last turn, LOL
