Why do people think that reaction time has anything to do with ET? The ET timer start the milisecond the front wheel breaks the staging beam. Deep staging (top stageing light out bottom one on) will have a minimal effect on the ET since the vehicle is "closer" to the speed trap.

it doesn't but it is possible to have a slower bike and win a race because the "faster bike" had a slower reaction time. confuses says "he who crosses the line first wins"

What he said. And air shifter could shave a few tenths but its all in the 60' realy. Though I have seen stock lenght 1ks go 9.10-9.00's and I may be mistaken, but I do think there was one who hit 8.9's. Gonna check something then I will get back with ya.
