French GP Qualifying Spoiler*****

What a difference a day makes......................Here's the grid

1.EDWARDS 2.Stoner 3.Checa

4.Rossi 5.Hopper 6.Elias

7.Hayden 8. De Puniet 9. Melandri

10.Pedrosa 11.Guinitoli 12.Vermulen

13.Barros 14.Nakano 15.Caparossi

16Tamada 17. Hoffman 18.Roberts

19. The Fonz

I'd like to thinkEdwards has the potential for his first ever win. He did his fastest lap in FP2 on lap 30 on spent tires so maybe there is hope. I still think we'll see Rossi, Hopper, and Elias on the podium.......... Hayden is a top five this week. Go Nicky, go Hopper, and GO GO GO GO Edwards!!!

.28 miles for the longest straight! Lets see how the riders do when the DUC doesn't have so far to run in a straight line. Should be a great race!

I think Stoner will take this one as well, I don't know who's training him, but it seems like it's working, he doesn't crash anymmore!

That's what I'm a'fear'd of. He's been brilliant during practice for the whole season, but come race time, he disappears. Well, at least one of those times wasn't his fault, but still.. GO COLIN!!!

I would love to see Edwards in the top three but I am not getting my hopes up. Stoner has been awesome all year but I can't help thinking that Rossi is still the better rider and once the Ducati speed is taken out of the equation Rossi will beat him. It's happened on too many tracks where if they were close Rossi would pass him in the turns and Stoner would motor away on the straights.

I think anything less than a win for Edwards would be a darn shame. Rossi looks like he is struggling big time at this track. Unless they can come up with a solution overnight, he'll be lucky to just podium.

Le Mans may not have the long straights(5th gear on main straight and barely touch 6th on the back), but Casey was still motoring some guys, AND he has a quick pace on race tires. LOOK OUT!!

Of course, it could rain and then who the knows! lol

I gotta go with Houseofpain on this one. So far that seems like the most likely. Where Rossi quaifies often has little to do with where he finishes.
