Tried out the S20s on a trip to the hill country. Decent tire. Definitely wears better than the BT016. Last trip out there toasted the BT016. S20s shows minimal wear. I bet I get over 2,500 miles on a rear. BT016 were toast after 1,500 miles. They did develop a weird stripe. Almost like where one compound begins and another ends. And there is a small line between the two areas. It is right on the edge of tire about 1/2" wide. And no Adam and Dan it isn't a chicken strip.

Just bumping old thread. I just installed a fresh set of BT-003rs for the track day this weekend. Riding around time, immediately feel like the turn in is much quicker compared to the S20s. Will report back!

Just updating for my future reference. Set BT003rs at 26/26 in the morning. Track temps were pretty cold in the morning, and the front tire felt very very disconnected comapred to the s20. Lowered my pressures to 25/25 and they worked better.

Overall impression is that they feel a bit softer on the brakes compared to the s20s. I can feel the front tire compress on heavy brakes. Once they heat up they stick better than the s20s for sure; however, I found it more difficult to heat them up compared to s20s. I wish Dunlop q3 made a 150 so I could tire them out on the DRZ.
