man. . this story is effin messed up. . Why wouldn't you want to bust the punk who stole your bike? If the cop didn't want to help you still have the option of having a different cop on this case cause the terms of the report has since changed. Dammit i'm so confused!!

Better called the police to notify them that you found the bike so IF there is an investigation going on or search, they would close the case. They could cite you for falsifying a claim if you don't let them know.
