WERD. My first experience with rash has now taught me that I don't give a flying F$%K how much I sweat while I ride!!! ie. "Wall of Shame"

Wear your leathers! Leather gloves, leather jacket, leather pants, leather boots and leather helmet! If your gonna wear mesh, might well wear a sweater.

gear is good....better to sweat than bleed.
In even a minor get off gear can make the difference between hospital or no hospital.
If it is too hot for perf leather, go for a good venting textile jacket and wet your shirt underneath.

Hey Witchdoctor, or anyone else. I've been thinking about moving to perfed leather instead of mesh. My question is how does the leather hold up to all the sweating and body salts? Do you need to clean it to keep it from rotting or at least smelling bad? And if so. How?

I have to wash mine every so often to knock the smell down. I turn it inside out and scrub the liner with laundry soap and a brush. I then let it dry. After it dries I treat the leather with all the proper products and keep going. Been wearing mine for 2 years doing that.

when it's hot here, it feels hot no matter what you are or are not wearing so might as well wear your gear.
