Hey man, safety first!

I guess you could wear a visor turned backwards, that would preseve the doo

Just make sure the visor is upside down AND backwards. Thats the way they wear 'em at Isle of Mann.

i feel more secure wearing it, but i can only stand so much heat.

opinions?

just because its summer you don't want to wear your gear? go buy a textile jacket and the perforations will keep wind going through it..... or be a skidmark on the pavement, whatever you wanna do man, but if you wear gear just to stay warm in the winter then natural selection will take care of what it needs to....

I ALWAYS wear gear, actualy even looking into upgrading my jacket to a leather one. Yes it's hot as but i would rather be safe on the road and sweat than to come home all rashed up b/c I it was "too hot" to gear up!!!

I've got a perforated Vanson leather jacket that lets the air through really nicely.

Helmet, gloves, boots, perf leather jacket...probably jeans is what I usually wear. Being safe is way better than being stitched up.

Smart words of advice:
"Honestly, if its too hot to put the gear on, then i just wont ride."

I always wear a helmet, gloves, and mesh jacket. When I commute I wear my JR Phoenix mesh pants. Most of the time I wear boots, but sometimes I wear hightop basketball shoes.

sure it's hot but not as hot as your skin sliding on the pavement.
