Old British Bike - need help

Anyone out there know someone who's good working on old British bikes? I've got a 73 Tiger that will run real well but its a pig to fire up. I'm on the west side of Houston. Tx!

I can only think of Sam's cycles after seeing there little collection of bikes. LOL.

How often does it get ridden? Is it having a hard time after a cold start or after it's been warm?

British USA was good in the '90s. Don't know about today. Someone told me that ace motor works in the heights was good, too.

If this is Andre at Airline Cycle Center this would be a good place to start. He worked on my 69 Bonnie a couple times and worked on all my friends old CBs. If you don't mind driving a little there is a place called Relic Cycles in Alvin. The owner Lou specializes in vintage British bikes.

If you're interested, I can put you in contact with the president of BMOA (local British motorcycle group). She can tell you who the most British-savvy guys are in the area.

Good luck with airline cycle center. I live literally 2 minutes from that place. Not trying to bad talk anyone but, that guy has never been any help to me or my dad. Not to mention he's rude. I'll ask my dad where hes been getting his parts from. He has a triumph tiger as well.

Good, she made it in to reply. Good person to know if you need any info or resources for old British bikes.

Malcolm personally rebuilt the top-end of my Tiger. Really good work, runs great and no leaks. If you need a Brit bike repair go see Sealy Cycles.
