accident...

Anyone hear about this one? Any news? Re-post?? No helmet


(5/18/07 - KTRK/HOUSTON) - A motorcyclist ended up in a hospital after he was ejected from his motorcycle in west Harris County overnight.

Investigators say he may have been intoxicated when he slammed into a curb on Beechnut and Highway 6.

Emergency crews say he is lucky to be alive. He was not wearing a helmet and suffered serious injuries, but he is expected to survive.

its bad enough to ride a bike with no gear...let alone intoxicated. it was an accident waiting to happen. at least he lived

My gawd.. I hope he learned his lesson. What a no-no to ride intoxicated or impaired in any way. I did once before and felt so out of control on the bike. I was lucky and made it home only swinging wide in a turn- but no accident. Never again will that happen.
