Stripped screw hole for mirror! anyone have a tapping set for M10 1.25

My screw hole for my mirrors are stripped. Anyone have a tapping set? Could do it for me? M10 PITCH 1.25. $20?

20 bucks will buy you the set I have from Harbor Freight.

re-tapping it may help. But, you'll probably need the repair kit that uses an oversized tap and thread insert.

I would just drill out and tap a size bigger. Can get the new bolts and tap at home depot.

On mirrors that thread in, sometimes one part of it will be a left hand thread.
Just fyi to double check before you tap.

You can get a heli-coil repair kit at O'Reilly for less than $20 I believe. I had to get one for my seat screws.
