Red, I know you must be going through alot right now, Tim and I have both lost loved ones that we were very close to. I have found that it is our job (the ones that are left behind) to keep thier memory alive. It is sometimes hard when you hear a song or see something that reminds you of the time you've had together, but if you think of it as thier way of reaching out to you beyond the grave if nothing more than to remind us of the love we've lost and the love they still retain for us it brings comfort. PM me if you want to talk.

I guess one of the things that is really making this so difficult on me is that only a few hours before I went to see my Father that last time, I had been at the funeral of my 18 yr old cousin who was shot and killed over the weekend in Louisiana. I didn't even want to tell most of the family at first due to teh fact they was still upset over the first loss. It is just a lot to take in all at one time One was way to young to die and the other way to close to my heart. I'm afariad ask what's next.

My condolences. The times with family are soo very special. Cherish those moments and keep your dads memory close. When they leave us its what gets us through the rough spots in life. My prayers to you and yours.

My condolences.

My folks live in Crosby, and I ride out there all the time. What's funny is I feel saver out there then in town in Houston. It's true that on 2 wheels you have to be on your guard 100% of the time.

Thank you for all your support and kind words. I don't think at this point we need outside help financially. He has an unrealistic amount of friends and supporters from churchs, riders associations, and family, I'm sure things will be taken care of.
Thanks again everyone

update on the accident

Well my guess about what happened was confirmed today. The report from the officer and the man who took my fathers life states that he was on
FM2100 near 1960 the truck in front of my father pull off on the shoulder of the road, then made an attempt to make a U-turn in the middle of 2100 my father was right behind him by that point, never even had time to hit his brakes before the impact. Not a single skid mark on the road. The driver of the truck made the usually statement "I never even saw him coming he came out of nowhere". Well maybe if people would actually look they would see us comeing. The driver that killed my father was very shaken up over it and with good reason, he just took an inocent life because he didn't take the time to look before he made a bad decision. He has a chance to get over his mistake, but my father never will.
Pay attention out there people not even is looking out for you.
