Now I know how it feels to lose someone close

I have read tread after tread on how people have been lost a friend or a family member in accidents and I you try to think of what to say that will help the way that person feels at that moment but most often there just are not any words to feel that hole left by a persons loss of life. About 30min. ago I recieved a messege letting me know that my father was killed in motorcycle accident on FM2100 near Crosby. I just left his house not 2 hrs. prior to this messege. I have no info. at this time just that he was struck by a truck while on his cruiser coming home from his riders association meeting. He was pronounced dead shorty after. He rides almost every day and has been my insperation to ride since I was a kid. I will always remember the stern safety standards he pounded into my head growing up. I will always Love him and miss him for the rest of my days.

Kris,
I don't know what to say. I lost my both of my parents suddenly when I was in my 20's. Both times were rough for me, and I can only imagine how it is for you.
If you need anything or just to talk, you know my numbers.
Take care brother.

I just wanted to add that the meeting my father attended tonight before his accident, he was to speak about motorcycle safety. You just can't always predict what the future has in store for you.
"Please be careful out there guys and gals!"
I hate reading these threads and I hate writeing them even more!!!!!!!!

I do remember your thread about your father, and remember calling my father the very next morning to tell him I love him and tell him about your lose. You just never know. I'm just glad I got to see him one last time.
Thanks, I know you feel my pain
